Fillmore Central Public Schools

This year's fifth graders participate in flag etiquette and citizenship as Mrs. Schiermeyer teaches them how to properly take care of the American flag.  The fifth grade students at the middle school contribute to their school community in a positive way as they volunteered for daily flag duty. Here you see the fifth graders learning how to properly care for the flag and how to raise and lower the flag according to the standard of respect.  The students will work in groups and raise and lower the flag daily throughout the entire year.
