The Panthers wrestled an excellent State Tournament this weekend in Omaha. We finished in 9th place out of 64 teams by amassing 57 team points. It was definitely a team effort as the wrestlers left it all on the mat.
Leading the way was Alex Schademann. He went 4-0 and became the 4th Panther State Champion in School History, following Luke DeLong, Jarrod Hinrichs, and Riley Moses. Alex won an electric match over #1 Logan Bryce from Raymond Central 4-2.
Aiden Hinrichs battled all weekend long and went 4-2 to bring home the 5th place medal.
Aidan Trowbridge capped a great career by fighting back to a 6th place medal. He battled to win an OT Match and a 1 pt. Friday night decision to get on the podium.
