
Yearbooks for the 2024-2025 year are ON SALE NOW! This year's theme is "In Retrospect" Cost: $40 without name or $45 with name If you're interested in purchasing a yearbook, you can drop money off to any building secretary.


Yearbook sales are ending this week. If you are interested in buying a yearbook please contact your building secretary by Thursday, April 17 (tomorrow).
Pre-K through 12th grade, hardback, full-color books $40, an additional $5 if you want your child's name on it.


3rd graders participated in the transportation field trip at Stuhr Museum on Friday to see how transportation began and has changed.

The National Federation of State High School Association (NFHS) announced that Junior, Evelyn Meyer, has been invited to serve on the 2025 NFHS National Student Advisory Council (NSAC).
Evelyn is one of only two students chosen from section 5 to represent on the advisory council. In all, two students from each of the eight NFHS geographical regions were chosen for NSAC, all of whom have exhibited outstanding leadership skills, achievements in academics and sports/activities, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities.
A total of 16 student leaders across the nation, all juniors and all involved in sports or performing arts activities in their respective schools, will be attending several meetings throughout the calendar year to provide the NFHS student perspectives on participation in high school sports and performing arts.

Bus Drivers
Multiple positions and routes are available-driving begins in August; Training could begin this summer.
178 days per year, Monday-Friday, August-May.
Starting wage $25.88-$30.28 an hour depending on experience.
Must pass a background check and drug test.
CDL or bus permit is preferred, but we will pay for training and getting your bus license.

Substitute Teachers
Must possess a local sub certificate (we can help you with this) or have a teaching certificate.
Flexible Schedule – work when you are able
$145 a day

This past weekend FBLA members competed at the State Leadership Conference in Kearney. Our American Enterprise team of Evelyn Meyer, Amity Swartzendruber, and Harley Schultz placed 8th. Amity Swartzendruber earned honorable mention in Intro to Business Communication and Intro to Information Technology. The chapter also received the following awards and ribbons: Sweepstakes, Go Green Ribbon, Foundation Donation Ribbon, and Feed Nebraska Ribbon.






The FC National Honor Society and Student Council is planning a community service give back day for the afternoon of Thursday, April 17th. The first grade students took their annual field trip to our greenhouse this week to learn about plant parts, plant seeds, and transplant starter plants.
The Plant Science class taught the lessons.
This Monday after school, the greenhouse will be open for the public to purchase plants that we took cuttings of and took care of. Look for a post with the details.
