Fillmore Central will have a 2 hour late start on Wednesday, January 22.
Last Thursday the Panthers took the Heartland Huskies. The Lady Panthers conquered the Huskies 54 to 25. The men contended with the Huskies but came up short with a loss of 57 to 51.
Last Thursday the wrestlers competed in the Centennial Quad. It was a very competitive dual. The following wrestlers were undefeated:

The speech team competed at Raymond Central on Saturday. This was the toughest meet of the year. Individual medalists were Wyatt 4th in Champs Entertainment, Trevor 5th in Champs Humor, Trevor & Brock 2nd in Honors Duet, Brooke, Brock, Zander, Hunter, & Trevor 3rd in Honors OID.
7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams host St Cecilia tonight, January 21, at the middle school in Fairmont. 7th grade game tips off at 4:30 p.m., followed by 2 quarters of C team, and concludes with the 8th grade game. Hope to see you there.
Winter Sports Meet the Panthers will be held this Saturday, Jan. 25th, during the varsity basketball games. Come get your pictures taken with the basketball players, wrestlers, and cheerleaders. Fan gear will also be handed out.
Due to weather concerns, the wrestling meet at Gibbon scheduled for Saturday, January 18, has been cancelled.
Panthers are on the prowl this weekend. On Saturday, the wrestlers are going to Gibbon and the speech team is heading to Raymond Central. Good luck to these Panthers!
Follow the basketball teams to Tri County on Jan 24th and enjoy the waffles by the Waffleman. They are serving wonderful waffles and scrumptious sausages.

Last chance! FC Speech is putting on a Speech Camp for 6-8th grade students starting in January 23rd. This a great opportunity for students to work on their speaking skills. Registration is $35 and is due tomorrow - Jan. 17th.

Basketball was in action this last Saturday at Superior. The girls put up a battle but ultimately lost 48-32. The boys made a valiant effort to make up a 20 point deficit & came back to a 53-48 loss. Catch the Panthers in action on Tuesday at home against Malcolm.
The Wrestling team competed in a shortened version of the Tri-County Duals on Saturday. The team was able to win dual tournament! We had 3 wrestlers finish the day 5-0. Those kids were Alex, Gavin and Thomas. Congratulations Panthers!
