The March of Dimes and FBLA for many years have enjoyed a partnership promoting healthy lifestyles to avoid premature birth. Friday night, the Fillmore Central FBLA is holding a fundraising awareness project at the football game. Megan Wallman, state secretary from Syracuse, who was born prematurely and not expected to survive, will be present to share her story and lead interested participants in a March of Dimes lap around the track during halftime of the game. FC FBLA hopes that many attendees at the football game will give generously and also participate in the halftime walk. Those unable to attend, but wishing to support the cause, can contribute by sending donations care of FC FBLA.
