As part of the USDA Food Program we are asked to share the following information. There may be a USDA Summer Food Service Program near you, where your kids can eat for free this summer. There are two ways to see if there is a Summer Food Program near you. One is by calling the National Hunger Hotline at 1-866-348-6479. The other is to text FOOD or COMIDA to 304-304.

2nd graders were treated to a demonstration by Jordan Ackland of Dynasty Ag Drone. He showed the kids how it moves and how to fold it up for transporting.

Fillmore Central Incoming 5 - 12 Households: I will be offering an extensive summer lesson session in June. Three days will be in Geneva and one day in Fairmont. There is no cost and it is designed to fit busy summer schedules. Any grade is welcome to start or restart an instrument. With the growth in the program the past year, there are not many school instruments available at this time, but a few remain. On June 4th, Dietze Music will hold its annual instrument showing at Fillmore Central Middle School in Fairmont from 1 - 5 p.m. I like to start this process early so when school starts in August, students are ready to go. It is very helpful for Dietze Music to know what the student is planning to play so they can bring enough of the instrument for the showing. Feel free to contact me via email if you would like to set up a time to discuss the best option for an instrument. Mrs. Hofferber's Intro to FCS classes made the kindergartener's monster drawings come to life! Intro to FCS students recreated the drawings made by the kindergarteners by making a pattern based on each picture and then hand-sewing and stuffing the felt monsters. The kindergarteners were very excited to see their drawings come to life.
