The halls were buzzing with excitement as our friendly “Deck the Doors” PRIDE Battle brought festive energy to the school ahead of the break. A huge thank you to all of the PRIDEs who participated and to our judges for making this event such a success. GAMES FOR TONIGHT (FRIDAY, DECEMBER 19) HAVE BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO MAINTENANCE ISSUES.

First Grade has been learning map skills. 1A-Mrs. Rohr's class has been having extra fun as they had a gingerbread man who ran away. Our gingerbread man traveled all over Kansas, some places in Nebraska, Minnesota, Texas, and even went to Madrid, Spain! He traveled over 24 places in 3 weeks! We had fun learning about new towns, items of interest, distance, and which direction he was traveling. The students were excited as he finally came back to school but led them on a scavenger hunt around school. They were so excited! We even graphed which part of the gingerbread cookie was eaten first-which was the right hand. The day culminated when they got to decorate a foam gingerbread man and a paper house.

Fillmore Central Middle School Student Council members Cullan S., Kamry A., and Addyson M. proudly delivered 575 donated items to the local food bank this week! 💛

This dedicated crew was in charge of the annual food drive hosted by the FMCS StuCo—organizing, communicating, collecting, and delivering donations. Not pictured: Quinten R., who also played a key role in the effort.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our students and staff, our community will feel a little warmer and more supported this season. What a wonderful example of caring in action! 🎁✨

There will be an early dismissal on Friday, December 19th. Elementary will be dismissed at 1:05, Middle School at 1:20, and High School at 1:35 PM. School will resume on January 6th.

The 2nd graders and TYKE students spent some time together spreading joy. They sang holiday songs, made necklaces, did some coloring, and read some holiday books. They look forward to getting together in the Spring.

There will be no school for grades 9-12 tomorrow, Wednesday, December 17th due to maintenance issues. K-8th grade students will still have school and run a normal schedule. Buses will run accordingly. All staff will still report.
