Kindergarten and 4th grade Reading Buddies. The first Monday of each month they meet and take turns reading to each other. KA looks forward to reading the new books they have learned to read, and also love hearing new and old books being read to them by 4th Graders.

4th graders had a visitor today! Joy Ullstrom came from the Nebraska Soybean Board to talk to the students about the power of the soybean!
The elementary kicked off Red Ribbon week by meeting at the flagpole and saying The Pledge of Allegiance.
It was a full house at the elementary last Friday for Grandparent's Day! Everyone had a great time! Thanks to all the visitors who came to spend the afternoon with us!

The students and staff at Fillmore Central Elementary performed a lockdown drill today. The purpose of this drill was to practice our procedures in the event of a danger entering our school building. Below you will see the protocols for a lockdown.
LOCKDOWN PROTOCOLS
In the event of a lockdown all interior and exterior doors will be locked and will remain locked until the danger or issue inside the building is removed. To enable everyone to remain safe, no one will be allowed to enter the building or leave the building until the drill is completed.
Kindergaten to Roca
Kindergarten will be traveling to the pumpkin patch in Roca tomorrow. Please have students dressed accordingly.
